Dr. Joseph is a founding member of the practice and has been with Resurgens since 1999 as a hand, wrist and shoulder surgeon, according to a May 12 news release. The award recognizes a Resurgens physician who demonstrates the values of founder John Garrett, MD.
“Dr. Joseph is a highly skilled and accomplished surgeon, and is respected among his peers, his patients and our staff for his dedication to taking patient care to the next level,” Resurgens CEO Alex Bateman said in the release. “In addition, Dr. Joseph is known for leading with all of the human skills that the Garrett Award signifies — communication, relationship-building and compromise.”
Dr. Joseph will retire from his practice in June.
