The Institute for Mobility and Longevity will conduct educational seminars for medical engineers under the partnership, according to a March 29 news release. The IML’s work in India will be part of a recently-established partnership between a Florida orthopedic group and a health system in India. Earlier in March, a partnership between Fort Myers-based Gardner Orthopedics and Shalby Advanced Technologies, a division of Shalby Hospitals in Ahmedabad, India, was announced. The collaboration will form 11 Centers of Excellence at 11 multispecialty hospitals.
