Prosser Orthopedic Center adds orthopedic sports medicine surgeon

Prosser (Wash.) Orthopedic Center has added Geoffrey Higgs, MD, to its orthopedics team.

Dr. Higgs is an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon who specializes in arthroscopic surgery, knee meniscus repair, rotator cuff tear repair and orthopedic biologics, according to an Oct. 4 news release from the Prosser Memorial Health. 

Dr. Higgs has served as an orthopedic surgeon for the U.S. Army and as a team physician for the New England Patriots and Washington Commanders in the NFL. 

Prosser Orthopedic Center has 15 locations across Prosser, Benton City and Grandview, Wash., according to its website.
