Whittier, Calif.-based PIH Health has integrated Zimmer Biomet’s OrthoGrid Hip AI program.

OrthoGrid Hip AI is a surgeon-operated, non-invasive technology that provides surgeons with real-time data during hip surgeries, according to an Oct. 21 news release from PIH Health.

The AI technology is used by surgeons performing total hip replacements with the direct anterior approach.

OrthoGrip Hip AI allows surgeons to provide reproducible and consistent surgical outcomes, according to Andrew Luu MD, an orthopedic surgeon at PIH Health.

PIH Health performs more than 1,500 joint replacement procedures each year, the release said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
