Perkins County Health Services adds orthopedic surgeon: 3 notes

Orthopedic surgeon Eric Verploeg, MD, is now seeing patients at Grant, Neb.-based Perkins County Health Services, according to The Grant Tribune Sentinel.

Three things to know:

1. PCHS collaborated with Broomfield, Colo.-based Rural Partners in Medicine to bring Dr. Verploeg to PCHS. He will treat patients at PCHS twice a month.

2. Based in Steamboat Springs, Colo., Dr. Verploeg has 30 years of orthopedic surgery experience. He began seeing patients at PCHS in October 2018.

3. Rural Partners in Medicine currently partners with 14 Nebraska hospitals and 11 others in six states.
