Penn Center for Musculoskeletal Disorders gets grant renewed

Philadelphia-based Penn Center for Musculoskeletal Disorders had a research grant from the National Institutes of Health renewed, according to an Aug. 25 announcement.

The center will receive $4 million to continue research in several areas from osteoporosis to rotator cuff tears. The center plans to use the money to build programs and focus on cross discipline innovations.

Penn Center for Musculoskeletal Disorders was founded in 2006 and is the longest-running NIH-sponsored musculoskeletal research center in the U.S.
