Atlanta-based Peachtree Orthopedics has added the Mako 3 SmartRobotics system.
The Mako 3 system supports total knee, partial knee, total hip and spine surgeries, expanding the practice’s care offerings, according to an Aug. 21 news release from Peachtree Orthopedics shared with Becker’s.
The system’s 3D CT-based planning allows surgeons to perform operations with higher precision, accuracy and control.
Over the past three years, Peachtree Orthopedics has added 10 physicians and opened three new clinic locations, the release said.
