Jarrod Smith, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Scott Orthopedic Center in Huntington, W.V., has begun accepting patients at St. Mary's Family Care in Ironton, Ohio, according to a Feb. 27 report from the Ironton Tribune.

Two orthopedic surgeons at Kirkland, Wash.-based EvergreenHealth have become the first in the state to offer the BEAR implant for torn ACL treatment, according to a Feb. 27 report from local news station KIRO 7. 

Pascagoula, Miss.-based Singing River Health System is the first in the state to offer the BEAR implant for torn ACL treatment.
