U.S. News & World Report has named its top 50 orthopedic hospitals in the U.S. for 2023 and 2024, including seven hospitals in New York City. 

EpiBone named Brian Cole, MD, of Chicago-based Rush University Medical Center, as an adviser, the regenerative medicine company said Aug. 8.

Several orthopedic surgeons in 2023 are suing their former employers for various concerns including alleged discrimination, fraud and monopolies.

Theradaptive and 3D Systems are partnering to bolster regenerative medicine, according to an Aug. 7 news release. 

New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery recently named two new associate surgeons-in-chief, Answorth Allen, MD, and Mathias Bostrom, MD.
