New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery has been named the top hospital in the world for orthopedics in 2024 by Newsweek. 

As the orthopedic industry continues to innovate with new robotic, 3D-printed and GPS-guided navigation options, physicians are concerned that insurance companies won't be open to covering new care options. 

In an evolving field, physicians are faced with seemingly endless challenges, opportunities and decisions every day. Though the industry is constantly changing, there are some things that perhaps are best learned through experience. 

Every year, Healthgrades releases a list of the 100 best hospitals for orthopedic surgery in the U.S. Two hospitals in Utah made the rankings in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
