Sunnyside, Wash.-based Astria Health has added Zachary Tan, MD, to its team of orthopedic surgeons, according to an Oct. 18 report by Sunnyside Sun.

Salem (Ore.) Health recently absorbed Salem-based Hope Orthopedics, a clinic with three sites in Salem, Keizer and Dallas, Ore. 

Oxford (Miss.) Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine has added Tyler Ellis, MD, to its orthopedics team, according to an Oct. 18 LinkedIn post. 

Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, based in Philadelphia, and Las Vegas-based Harvard MedTech are collaborating to research remote virtual reality-based cognitive behavioral therapy in orthopedic patients.

The Orthopaedic Group, based in Mobile, Ala., expanded its staff with the addition of Scott Glenzer, MD.

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital has promoted Andrew Hiller, MD, to department chair of surgery. 

Keith Meister, MD, is the head team physician of the MLB's Texas Rangers and the director of Texas Metroplex Institute for Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery in Arlington.

John Barrasso, MD, is the only orthopedic surgeon serving among the 19 physicians in the 118th U.S. Congress. Dr. Barrasso is a Republican senator from Wyoming and was first elected to his seat in 2007.
