Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedic Institute broke ties with the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles over future malpractice risk, a spokesperson for the practice confirmed to Becker's.  

Virtual orthopedic care company Upswing Health has partnered with Hinge Health, a company dedicated to changing how musculoskeletal conditions are prevented and treated.

The highest-paid orthopedic surgeon in Boston earns $1,093,600, according to Medscape's salary reporter tool, which is much higher than the mean annual wage of $378,250 orthopedic surgeons make according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Corey Jackson, MD, a surgeon at Zanesville, Ohio-based Genesis Orthopedic Center, has become the first surgeon to use the newest generation of ExactechGPS hardware and technology, according to a June 17 report from the Zanesville Times Recorder.
