The multi-year deal will make Pacira’s Iovera device the official non-opioid pain management partner of the LPGA. Iovera uses cold therapy to interrupt pain signals, and it will be available to all LPGA players.
Pacira will also host initiatives with the LPGA to raise awareness of non-opioid pain management.
“We’re working to educate our players so that they can maintain their health and wellbeing and perform at their best every day,” LPGA Medical Director Thomas Bruce, MD, said in the release. By partnering with Pacira, we can provide our players with even more information to better support them as they continue to pursue their dreams on the golf course.”
