Medical device company Overture Orthopaedics has commercially launched the OvertureTi Knee Resurfacing System.
The system is utilized to treat early osteoarthritis and cartilage defects, and includes femoral and tibial implants in partial replacement of the articular surfaces of the knee, according to a July 16 news release from Overture Orthopaedics.
The OvertureTi Knee Resurfacing System received 510(k) clearance from the FDA in March 2023.
About 150 cases have been successfully completed with the system in a limited market release from November 2023, the release said.
