OsteoRemedies gets expanded indication for dual antibiotic bone cement

OsteoRemedies got new FDA clearances for its Spectrum GV dual antibiotic bone cement, according to an April 23 news release.

The Spectrum bone cement’s new indications cover the fixation of revision hip arthroplasty components. It was launched in 2018 for total joint replacement.

Spectrum has vancomycin and gentamicin, which has antibacterial properties.
