OrthoWorx CEO Bob Vitoux is stepping down to rejoin Ambassador Enterprises as its CFO, according to an April 28 news release.
Mr. Vitoux joined OrthoWorx, a nonprofit supporting orthopedic development in Indiana, in 2022. He will depart on May 2, and Terry Schlotterback, OrthoWorx board chair, will serve as interim CEO.
“He brought with him a wealth of experience from his previous roles at Zimmer, Biomet, DePuy, Steinway and Ambassador Enterprises,” Mr. Schlotterback said in the release. “Under his leadership, OrthoWorx has made great strides in advancing its mission to support and promote the orthopedic industry in Warsaw (Ind.), while also expanding its impact across northeast Indiana and throughout the state.”
The OrthoWorx board began the search for a new CEO to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
