Dr. Pifer received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. He underwent sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery fellowship training at the Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center.
Dr. Pifer uses single portal arthroscopy, a novel surgical technique used in both knee and shoulder arthroscopic surgeries. He also uses biologic treatments, such as platelet-rich plasma injections, for orthopedic injuries.
