Dr. Nascimento is head team physician and medical director at Boston College, and Dr. Foster is chief of orthopedics and sports medicine at Newton (Mass.)-Wellesley Hospital, according to a March 31 news release.
The partnership will provide medical support for Boston College’s sports teams at the varsity and club levels. Clinicians will also work with student-athletes on training, injury prevention and game-day medical care.
Mass General Brigham provides care to other sports teams, including the Boston Bruins, New England Patriots and New England Revolution.
