Orthopedic surgeon to know: Sheila Algan of University of Oklahoma College of Medicine

Sheila Algan, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. She also serves as an associate professor for the university.

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Algan specializes in sports medicine.

 

Dr. Algan is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America and Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society.

 

After earning her medical degree from the Madison-based University of Wisconsin Medical School, Dr. Algan completed her residency at the Philadelphia-based Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Algan underwent fellowship training at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
