Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Zackary Vaughn of Stanford University

Zackary Vaughn, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Stanford (Calif.) University. He also serves as a clinical assistant professor for the university.

Dr. Vaughn specializes in anterior cruciate ligament tears, rotator cuff injuries, meniscus tears and sports related injuries.

 

Currently, Dr. Vaughn serves as team physician for the Bay Area Bandits and Stanford’s men’s rugby team. Dr. Vaughn previously served as an assistant team physician for the San Francisco 49ers.

 

After earning his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Dr. Vaughn completed his residency at Stanford University. Dr. Vaughn is also fellowship trained from Stanford University.
