Previously, Dr. Satterwhite served as a U.S. Olympic Committee medical staff physician and was named Georgia Team Physician of the Year. Atlanta Magazine has named her a Top Doctor for the past seven years.
Board certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, Dr. Satterwhite is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, American Sports Medicine Fellowship Society and FORUM Women’s Orthopaedic Society.
Dr. Satterwhite earned her medical degree and completed her residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She is also fellowship trained from the Alabama Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham.
