In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Maloney is the chair of Stanford (Calif.) University School of Medicine. He specializes in unicompartmental knee replacement and failed joint replacement.
Dr. Maloney is a member of the American Joint Replacement Registry, International Hip Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
After earning his medical degree from New York City-based Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Maloney completed his residency at Stanford University Medical Center. He underwent fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
