With expertise in hip replacement surgery, knee replacement surgery and knee arthroscopy, Dr. Leone serves as the founder and head of The Leone Center for Orthopedic Care.
Dr. Leone also specializes in computer assisted knee replacement surgery, robotic assisted partial knee replacement surgery and revision hip surgery for metal ion toxicity. He invented the pelvic alignment level, which is a device designed to allow surgeons to achieve more efficient implant precision when performing total hip replacements.
Dr. Leone is a member of the American Medical Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American College of Surgeons, among others.
After earning his medical degree from Atlanta-based Emory University School of Medicine, Dr. Leone completed a residency at University of Miami Department of Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation and a fellowship in joint reconstructive surgery at Holy Cross Hospital.
