He is a diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. Additionally, he was the medical director of the Trans-Sylvania MTB Epic stage race from 2010 to 2014.
Dr. McGrath completed his emergency medicine residency at Drexel University College of Medicine. He then underwent a sports medicine fellowship at Cone Health System in Greensboro, N.C.
