Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Stephanie Roach of Cayuga Medical Associates

Stephanie S. Roach, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Ithaca, N.Y.-based Cayuga Medical Associates.

Dr. Roach treats orthopedic hand, wrist and upper extremity injuries and conditions, with special interests in carpal tunnel release and trigger finger release surgery, finger, thumb and joint surgery for arthritis, degenerative shoulder conditions, fractures, and more.

 

She is fellowship-trained in hand surgery and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Roach is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

 

Dr. Roach graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse before completing her general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency there, as well. She then underwent hand surgery fellowship training at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.
