Dr. Hannum focuses on primary and revision joint replacement, minimally invasive hip and knee procedures and general orthopedic surgery. He has worked as a consultant with numerous orthopedic companies, helping design instruments and implants. He provides care at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington and Wilmington SurgCare.
Dr. Hannum completed medical school at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, now the University of Toledo Health Science Campus. He completed his residency in Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio. He has also completed a joint replacement fellowship at University of Florida Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville.
