Dr. Badarudeen specializes in hip and knee replacement and reconstruction surgery. His current research focuses on reducing the risk of infection after surgery and how to improve the lifespan of joint replacements.
As a leader in orthopedic public health, Dr. Badarudeen led research at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark and Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The National Institute of Health references his work frequently.
After earning his medical degree from Government Medical College in Thiruvananthapuram, India, Dr. Badarudeen completed his residency at Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Badarudeen underwent fellowship training at University of Louisville (Ky.) School of Medicine.
