Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Robert Morgan of OrthoCarolina

Robert Morgan, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, N.C.

Dr. Morgan specializes in sports medicine and shoulder and elbow surgery, including arthroscopic rotator cuff repair as well as shoulder and elbow surgery.

With expertise in sports medicine, Dr. Morgan serves as the team physician for Concord (N.C.) High School as well as the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas in Spartanburg, S.C. He also works with various NASCAR teams.

Dr. Morgan is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North Carolina Orthopaedic Association and North Carolina Medical Society.

After earning his medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, Dr. Morgan completed a residency at Charlotte-based Carolinas Medical Center and fellowship training in sports medicine and shoulder and elbow surgery at OrthoCarolina.
