Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Robert Bane of Carle Foundation Hospital

Robert A. Bane, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon with Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Ill.

Dr. Bane’s medical interests include arthroscopy, sports medicine, fracture care and joint replacement surgery.

 

Dr. Bane earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinic in Madison. He also completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala.

 

Dr. Bane is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
