Dr. Wilkerson earned his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa and completed his orthopedic surgery training at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Denver, Colo.

 

Dr. Wilkerson works as an instructor and developer of new programs for Orthopedics Overseas. He has served in Afghanistan (1990, 1993 and 2003), Bhutan (1995), Cambodia (1996), Vietnam (2001) and with the Medical Alliance to Iraq for the first Iraq Medical Society Forum (2004).
