Dr. Myers practices at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital as part of the Sentara Orthopedic Trauma Specialist team. He treats a range of open fractures, extremity injuries and bone infections.
Dr. Myers is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, an assistant professor at Norfolk-based Eastern Virginia Medical School, and a site director for chief residents at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (Va.) orthopedic residency program. He expects to be initiated as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons in October.
A graduate of Brown University’s Warren Alpert Medical School in Providence, R.I., Dr. Myers completed his residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland and underwent fellowship training at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
