Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Patrick Schottel of UV Medical Center

Patrick Schottel, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Schottel serves as an assistant professor at Robert Larner College of Medicine, also in Burlington. He specializes in percutaneous pelvic fixation and acetabular fixation.

 

Dr. Schottel’s clinical interests include malunions, nonunions, orthopedic trauma and acute fractures.

 

After earning his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., Dr. Schottel completed his residency at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Schottel is also fellowship trained from the University of Texas at Austin.
