Dr. Birmingham specializes in hip arthroscopy, sports medicine and arthroscopic surgical treatment of shoulder, knee and elbow injuries. His clinical interests also include hip impingement and arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction, treatment of shoulder dislocations and rotator cuff injuries and cartilage repair.
Dr. Birmingham earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed his residency at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He also completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
Dr. Birmingham currently serves as team physician for the Chicago Bears, and has previously served as team physician for the New York Giants and Milwaukee Mustangs.
