Prior to practicing at Advanced Orthopaedic Associates, Dr. Shields served as an orthopedic surgeon in the U.S. Air Force.
Dr. Shields specializes in foot and ankle surgery, knee surgery and ankle replacement.
After earning her medical degree from Albany (N.Y.) Medical College, Dr. Shields completed her residency at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center in San Antonio. Dr. Shields is also fellowship trained from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
