Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Monica Kogan of Rush University Medical Center

Monica Kogan, MD, is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Kogan specializes in treating children’s broken bones, birth defects, developmental dysplasia, clubfeet, genetic anomalies, scoliosis and walking disorders.

 

Dr. Kogan’s research interests include limb lengthening, patient and physician communication and global health and medical mission outreach.

 

After earning her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, Dr. Kogan completed her residency at Chicago-based Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Dr. Kogan is also fellowship trained from the Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
