Dr. Russonella earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Lake Erie (Pa.) College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a residency at New York City-based Peninsula Hospital Center and a fellowship at Birmingham, Ala.-based American Sports Medicine Institute.
He currently serves as the primary physician of North Jersey Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Institute. He previously worked at several New Jersey-area hospitals.
Dr. Russonella is a member of several professional societies including the American Academy of Sports Medicine, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and American Osteopathic Association.
