Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Michael Clare of Florida Orthopaedic Institute

Michael P. Clare, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon with the Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Temple Terrace, Fla.

Dr. Clare specializes in foot and ankle surgery and post trauma reconstruction. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, Orthopaedic Trauma Association, AO North America and AO/ASIF Teaching Faculty.

 

Dr. Clare earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine in Omaha and completed his residency at Creighton University/University of Nebraska Health Foundation in Omaha. He also completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery/lower extremity reconstruction at Florida Orthopaedic Institute in conjunction with Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital.

 

Dr. Clare served as assistant professor at the University of Nebraska’s department of orthopedic surgery from 2002 to 2005. He has presented lectures and research at over 70 local, national and international meetings, and has published over 30 research articles, book chapters and abstracts in diseases and injuries of the foot and ankle.
