Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Michael Abdulian of Adventist Health Glendale

Michael Hovig Abdulian, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Adventist Health Glendale (Calif.)

With expertise in sports medicine and trauma, Dr. Abdulian specializes in open and arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder, hip and knee. He is also trained in joint preservation, joint replacement, fracture care and nonsurgical treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.

Dr. Abdulian is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Arthroscopy Association of North America.

After earning his medical degree from New Orleans-based Tulane University School of Medicine, Dr. Abdulian completed a residency at Case Western Reserve University Hospital in Cleveland. He then completed fellowships in sports medicine and shoulder reconstruction as well as hip arthroscopy at Los Angeles-based Keck Hospital of University of Southern California.
