Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Melbourne Boynton of Rutland Regional Medical Center

Melbourne Boynton, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon, specializing in sports medicine, at the Rutland (Vt.) Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Boynton also serves as chief of surgery and medical director of orthopedics at the Rutland Regional Medical Center and team physician for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association.

 

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Boynton’s interests include arthroscopic surgery, ligament reconstruction, shoulder surgery, knee surgery and total knee replacement.

 

After earning his medical degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., Dr. Boynton completed his residency at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
