Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. McPherson Beall of Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists

McPherson Beall, MD, is a hand, wrist and elbow specialist with Portland, Ore.-based Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists. Dr. McPherson believes a patient’s unique goals, social circumstances and challenges are the greatest factor in determining the right treatment approach.

After completing his undergraduate degree in philosophy from Stanford, Dr. Beall received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical in Ann Arbor.

Dr. Beall then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Missouri in Kansas City before completing two fellowships — one in hand and microvascular surgery — at the University of San Francisco, and another in pediatric upper extremity reconstruction at Northern California Shriners Hospital in Sacramento.
