Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Mark Halstead of Washington University in St. Louis

Mark Halstead, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Washington University in St. Louis.

Additionally, Dr. Halstead serves as an associate professor in orthopedic surgery and pediatrics at Washington University. He is also the medical director for Washington University in St. Louis young athlete center.

 

Dr. Halstead is affiliated with Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Barnes-Jewish Hospital, all in St. Louis.

 

He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison. Dr. Halstead underwent fellowship training at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.
