Dr. Galland focuses on treating sports injuries. He is a fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine. His research work has appeared in publications such as the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma. In additional to the care he provides for professional teams, Dr. Galland serves as medical consultant for Intercollegiate Athletics and as a team physician for local high schools, including East Wake High School in Wendell, N.C.
Dr. Galland earned his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he also completed his orthopedic residency. He trained under sports medicine specialist Michael Brunet, MD, during his residency.
