Dr. Whiteside founded Missouri Bone & Joint Center and serves as president of its board of directors. He is also the Missouri Bone & Joint Research Foundation’s director.
The author of a book on ligament balancing in total knee arthroplasty, Dr. Whiteside has trained more than 20 orthopedic surgeons in a fellowship program for hip and knee replacement clinical practice and research.
Dr. Whiteside earned his medical degree at the University of Texas in Austin and completed orthopedic surgery training at Washington University Medical Center’s Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
