Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Kevin Fricka of Harborside Surgery Center

Kevin B. Fricka, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at National Harbor, Md.-based Harborside Surgery Center.

Dr. Fricka specializes in partial knee replacement, minimally invasive knee and hip replacement and revision knee and hip replacement. He regularly presents his research and has been published in the Journal of Arthroplasty and other orthopedic journals. Dr. Fricka has co-authored several book chapters and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

 

Dr. Fricka earned his medical degree at George Washington University before completing his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, San Diego. He then went on to complete a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at Chicago-based Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush University.
