Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Kenneth Austin of Northeast Orthopedics & Sports Medicine

Kenneth S. Austin, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Northeast Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Airmont, N.Y.

Dr. Austin is also affiliated with Ramsey, N.J.-based Ramapo Valley Surgical Center, where he serves as board chairman.

His specialties include anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, total knee replacement, arthroscopy and meniscus surgery.

In 2017, Castle Connolly recognized Dr. Austin as one of New York metropolitan area’s Top Doctors.

Dr. Austin is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and he is a member of the New York State Medical Society and Rockland County Medical Society.

After earning his medical degree from and completing his residency at New York City-based NYU School of Medicine, Dr. Austin underwent knee reconstruction surgery fellowship training at Harvard University’s Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
