Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Julie Switzer of University of Minnesota

Julie Switzer, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She also serves as an associate professor in orthopedic surgery at the university.

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Switzer specializes in trauma injuries, osteoporosis, bone metabolism and shoulder and elbow surgery.

 

Dr. Switzer has been named a Top Doctor by the St. Paul Magazine since 2012.

 

After earning her medical degree from Stanford (Calif.) University School of Medicine, Dr. Switzer completed her residency at the St. Louis-based University of Washington. Dr. Switzer is also fellowship trained from Vail (Colo.) Valley Medical Center.
