Dr. Beck has a professional interest in sports injuries, hip dysplasia and other hip disorders. She has won numerous awards over the course of her career, including the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society Resident Research Award and a First Place Poster award from the Western Orthopaedic Association.
Dr. Beck’s research interests include risk factors in pediatric chronic exertional compartment syndrome and outcomes of ACL reconstruction in skeletally immature patients. Her work has been published in professional journals, such as Pediatric Orthopedics.
Dr. Beck earned her medical degree at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Ill. She completed her residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill. She has completed two fellowships — one in sports medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital and another in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Orthopaedic Institute for Children.
