Dr. Foran is dedicated to providing charity care and has volunteered with organizations such as Operation Walk, and in numerous countries including Nigeria, Tanzania and Vietnam. He authored or co-authored an array of peer-reviewed scientific papers and textbook chapters. He is the section editor for joint replacement section of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons’ website. He has also presented his research at multiple national and international conferences.
Dr. Foran earned his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of California San Diego. He then completed a one-year fellowship in total joint arthroplasty at Rush University in Chicago.
