Dr. Tasto has been named a Top Doctor by San Diego County Medical Society and San Diego Magazine several times throughout his career.
He currently serves as clinical professor at University of California-San Diego and has been heavily involved with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America, American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine, American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and many other organizations and societies throughout his career.
Dr. Tasto has published over 60 articles, abstracts and book chapters, has made over 500 scientific presentations and has organized or chaired over 30 courses.
He has held prominent positions with Sports Medicine & Arthroscopy Review, American Journal of Orthopaedics, American Journal of Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics Today.
