He specializes in arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Freedberg serves as a consulting physician to the Player’s Association for the NFL and MLA, in addition to serving as the team physician for five local high schools.
He earned his medical degree and completed an orthopedic residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago. He completed a sports medicine fellowship at Wellington Sports Medicine Center in Cincinnati. He went on to complete a reconstructive arthritis surgery fellowship at the Bone and Joint Institute in Cincinnati.
